This reflected what a TRULY REMARKABLE GUY HE WAS.

IT IS WITH EXTREME SADNESS AND GRIEF
THAT WE HAVE TO INFORM YOU
OF THE LOSS OF MR EDWARD PITT.
WORDS DO NOT EXPRESS THE FEELING
OF SORROW THAT WE FEEL
IN OUR HEARTS AT THIS VERY SAD TIME
BUT WE MUST ASK YOU
TO SPARE A MOMENT OF THOUGHT
FOR ONE OF THE CLUBS MOST LOVED
AND RESPECTED MEMBERS
PLEASE ALSO GIVE YOUR THOUGHTS
TO THE FAMILY
AND ALLOW THEM SOME TIME TO GRIEVE
TED WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY US ALL
AND WE INCLUDE A SHORT POEM

God knows you had to leave us,
but you did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day He took you home.
To some you are forgotten,
to others just part of the past,
but to us who loved and lost you,
